Cycling Summit
The Saskatoon Cycling Summit was a participatory urban planning process that developed a plan for new cycling infrastructure in Saskatoon. The summit brought together community members to create a new cycling network map. The map developed over a few iterations and you can see the details of those iterations below.
In phase 1 the Cycling Summit planning team developed an initial draft of the map. The Cycling Summit planning team consisted of:
- Cathy Watts (@bikinggramma)
- Hilary Gough (@hilary_gough)
- Ingrid Larson
- Cora Janzen (@corajanzen)
- Daniel Fuller (@walkabilly)
In phase 2 the Saskatoon Cycles board did small group workshops to further refine the plan.
In phase 3 a group of 30 community volunteers further refined and developed the maps.
